Coast Digital
Coast Digital is a California-based marketing agency specializing in creative production, ad management, and custom reporting. Their clients include Barstool Sports, SiriusXM, and others.
At launch, Coast Digital’s primary focus was building their client base and launching client campaigns. Because of this, they deprioritized their website development and prospect experience.
Role / UI Design, Prototyping, UX Research
Task / Optimize and templatize site pages, redesign contact page, enhance blog posts
Duration / 5 week sprints
Tools / Webflow, Figma, Photoshop, HubSpot
Project Approach
Coast's website experience was inconsistent across different pages and didn’t showcase their services and impact they drive for clients.

Rather than solve these issues separately, I took a universal approach to ensure that what I developed drove consistency and clarity on their website.
Contact Us Page
Blog
Problem /
The blog was hard to read and lacked a cohesive visual design language. Formatting was inconsistent and the page was not responsive, so these issues were even more obvious when viewed on a mobile device.
Solution /
I standardized the visual design system in Webflow across all web pages.
-
First, I changed the HTML tags within the site’s style guide to ensure that the hyperlink format, spacing, font color, and weight were legible and consistent sitewide.
-
Next, I templatized the thumbnail design system used to drive traffic to their blog posts and applied this to every post on the site.
-
To promote Coast’s content, I added clickable thumbnails that drove to their top blog posts and a prompt to sign up for a discovery call at the bottom of each blog.
